about a metre and a half tall, unpainted, supported by two legnths of timber (also decaying) and wrapped in barbed wire. the barbed wire threads through a line of metal stakes, continues downhill along the trail and itself collapses into the grass. threaded metal stakes on the other side rise up and over the ridgeline.
