relay station
it is a squat, small concrete shelter in a flat clearing on the mountainside. there is only one entrance. no door to keep out the elements, and no windows.
there is room enough for a hammock and a small table. the greater part of the interior is occupied, wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, by shelves and pigeonholes. right now, they are mostly empty except for leftover bits and bobs owned by no-one, and supplies of tea, coffee and dried biscuits shared among the messengers passing through here.
