Bird Observations, 29 November 2020 National Botanical Gardens, Canberra Rainforest Gully, 1 pm, a male king parrot landed on a high gum branch and quietly watched me. Rutaceae, 2 pm, a yellow-tailed black cockatoo flew through with a long call. Myrtaceae, 2 pm, a crimson rosella sat on a branch and called two notes. Myrtaceae, 2 pm, a family of white-winged choughs passed by, squabbling. Cultivars, 2 pm, two crimson rosellas flew through calling two short notes. Cultivars, 2 pm, a crimson rosella appeared amongst the branches of a flowering eucalyptus, but flew off when it spotted me. Cultivars, 2 pm, two crimson rosellas landed on a nearby branch, conversed briefly and flew off again. Cultivars, 2 pm, a duo (or trio) of superb fairy wrens hopping about on the path.
